A Day in the LifeAs a Global Commercial AI-Enabled Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing innovative learning experiences to meet the needs of commercial teams across various regions and markets. This role requires expertise in instructional design, e-learning specialization, and artificial intelligence (AI) integration. The primary responsibility of this role will be to design and develop innovative learning experiences that leverage AI technologies and e-learning specialization to enhance personalization, interactivity, and effectiveness of global commercial learning experiences.
Instructional Design: Develop engaging and effective learning experiences using instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Design learning objectives, content outlines, and assessments aligned with organizational goals and learner needs.
E-Learning Specialization: Create interactive and multimedia-rich e-learning modules and courses using e-learning authoring tools and multimedia production software. Develop engaging online learning materials optimized for various devices and platforms.
AI Integration: Integrate AI technologies and algorithms into learning experiences to enhance personalization, adaptivity, and interactivity. Explore AI-driven features such as adaptive learning paths, intelligent tutoring systems, and natural language processing for feedback and assessment.
Data Analysis and Insights: Partner with Learning Effectiveness and Data and Analytics teams to analyze learning data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-enhanced learning experiences. Use data-driven insights to optimize learning pathways, enhance learner engagement, and improve learning outcomes.
Research and Innovation: Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in instructional design, e-learning technologies, and AI applications in education and training. Conduct research and experimentation to explore innovative approaches and technologies for AI-enhanced learning.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, e-learning developers, and AI specialists to design and implement AI-enhanced learning solutions. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to stakeholders and end-users on AI-enabled learning tools and platforms. Offer guidance and assistance in leveraging AI features effectively to optimize learning outcomes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that AI-enhanced learning experiences meet quality standards, accessibility requirements, and regulatory compliance. Conduct testing and validation to address usability, performance, and security issues.
Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and commercial training, continuously enhancing your own skills and knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in training delivery.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, or a related field.



  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning management systems.



  • Proven experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and AI integration preferably in a global commercial or corporate training environment. 



  • Strong proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and programming languages for AI development.



  • Deep knowledge of AI technologies and algorithms, including machine learning and natural language processing.



  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.



  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.



  • Creativity, innovation, and a passion for leveraging AI to enhance learning experiences.




  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a global team.



  • Knowledge of commercial operations, sales methodologies, and market dynamics is a plus.



  • Certification in instructional design or training (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) is desirable.
