Process Engineer

1. The candidate should be conversant in providing expertise and input on concept and FEED deliverables in the design and development of projects.
2. Knowledge of PFD, P&ID preparations, process flow calculations, Datasheet preparation, etc.
3. Provide technical advice to operations on all relevant process engineering aspects. Review/evaluate dynamic simulation results and advise on appropriate solutions.
4. Experience in preparing Process Design Basis and conducting HAZID and HAZOP studies.
5. Provide process input into process controls, commissioning, and start-up. Review of all equipment design and process equipment datasheets and ensures safe, economic, and technically sound decisions in all project phases.

Responsibilities

• To assist the PM & other project team members to execute detailed engineering and FEED jobs in a project. Support the department to establish and update procedures and standards.
• Performing Simulation studies and developing Heat & Mass Balance sheet
• Flare, Blowdown & Depressurization calculations
• Sizing of Equipment, Instrument and Lines
• Performing Hydraulic calculation of network lines 
• Estimation of Power load
• Preparation of Engineering documents, reports & Operating manuals
• Preparation of PFD, P&ID 
• Preparation of SAFE Charts, Cause & Effect Diagram
• Preparation of Datasheets for Rotating, Static and Instruments
• Guiding Project management team in an emergency
• Forecasting deliverables affects the schedule
