What are you going to do?


As a Plant Manager you will support growth, provide strategic exposure, and empower high-potential individuals to transition into a pivotal leadership role within the seed processing industry.


Your responsibilities will include


Production Management:


§  Oversee end-to-end seed processing activities including cleaning, drying, grading, treating, packing, and storage. Take full operational ownership of the seed processing facility post-commissioning.


Quality Control:


§  Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that the seeds meet the required specifications and as per Indian Seed Act 1966 or as per company standards/ Protocol.


Inventory Management:


§  Overseeing inventory levels, tracking seed stock and coordinating with MIS / Logistics/ Sales to manage supply and demand effectively.


Plant Equipment Maintenance:


§  Supervising the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning optimally and minimizing downtime during the season time. Preventive maintenance schedule to be prepared in advance and to be completed the work as per schedule.


Cost Management:


§  Work to optimize processing and Packaging costs, identify areas for cost-saving initiatives and manage the plant's budget effectively. Monitor plant performance, budgets, and KPIs.


Safety Compliance:


§  Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed within the plant to maintain a safe working environment for employees and prevent accidents.


§  SHE Compliance: Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices within the facility and reporting timely to superiors.


Continuous improvement:


§  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and seed quality. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.


Cross Functional Working:


§  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Field Production.
