This role requires a passionate, hands-on professional who can lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive meaningful outcomes across social programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of youth development frameworks, government relations, and social work practices, with fluency in Telugu to effectively engage with local communities and partners.
Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the operations of the center, ensuring program delivery aligns with organizational objectives and timelines.
Develop and implement program strategies, annual plans, and activity calendars for youth development initiatives.
Monitor program performance, track outcomes, and generate periodic reports for senior management.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational guidelines.
Youth Development & Community Engagement: Design and implement youth-focused programs, including life skills training, career guidance, mentorship, and educational initiatives.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events that promote youth empowerment and community participation.
Build strong relationships with local communities, families, and youth groups to ensure program relevance and impact.
Government Relations & Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain partnerships with local government bodies, NGOs, and other social sector organizations.
Represent the organization in government forums, meetings, and social sector networks.
Support fundraising and resource mobilization efforts by coordinating with stakeholders and government agencies.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of program officers, volunteers, and support staff.
Build internal capacities through training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
Required Skills & Competencies: Proven experience in social sector programs, youth development, or community engagement.
Strong understanding of government structures, policies, and schemes relevant to youth and social programs.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in Telugu and English.
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder networks and maintain strong government and community relations.
Background in social work, development studies, or related fields preferred.
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in program management, preferably with exposure to social sector initiatives, youth development programs, and government collaborations.
