Full-time equivalent, dependent on experience Basis: Permanent; full-time, part-time or flexible Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in India The role We are looking to appoint an experienced programme manager to join Code Club India’s team to grow the reach and impact of Code Club across the country and manage Coolest Projects, a technology showcase for young digital creators.
  Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the skills and confidence to create with digital technologies.
Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries and maker spaces.
  You will play a pivotal role in growing and sustaining the Code Club network across India.
You will manage the end-to-end of the programme life cycle which include onboarding partners, planning and delivering training and events, and ensuring programmes deliver the intended outcomes to a high level of quality.
You will also build and engage the community of volunteers and educators that support our work and improve the quality of the learning experience through training and spreading best practices.
You don’t need to be an expert in computer science or coding, but you do need to bring a passion for our mission and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities Develop new  partnerships to grow the reach and impact of Code Club and Coolest Projects.
Plan and execute partner onboarding for non-formal programmes; ensuring all partners’ staff and volunteers understand and follow the partnership agreement terms including training standards and safeguarding requirements.
  Lead high-quality Code Club training sessions for trainers, teachers, and volunteers throughout the country, ensuring training outcomes are achieved.
Develop strategies to build and nurture educator and volunteer communities in India, in collaboration with the National Programme Manager.
  Plan and run Coolest Projects in India.
Support the delivery of monitoring and evaluation plans, ensuring learnings are fed back back into programme design.
  Plan and support marketing and communications work in India, in collaboration with colleagues.

Bachelor’s degree or higher education in education or STEM is preferable.
At least five years’ experience in education programme management roles, primarily in non-formal education programmes, with an understanding of how education programmes are adopted into school and community sectors.
A proven track record of managing partnerships with an ability to engage and manage external stakeholders from government, education, community leaders, NGO partners, and industry.
Experience in managing & delivering teacher and volunteer training and development programmes, with an understanding of andragogy and a specialism in computing education or related fields preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A collaborative, flexible, and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and complexity.
Good data, analytical, and reporting skills, and the ability to use data effectively to improve what we do.
Capacity for extensive travel to communities and schools in different parts of the country for meetings, training sessions, and monitoring.
