Job Summary: The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Project Manager, who will help Candi to lead the solar revolution. Given that Candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking. 


Specifically, the job requires taking ownership of the following for the India team:


  • Project Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience managing end to end execution of solar projects of both roof top and ground mounted projects. Experience of open access projects is must. 
  • Clear understanding of state solar policies and regulatory approvals involved in setting up the solar project.
  • Ability to perform engineering reviews, questioning design basics, validating assumptions and provide approval to EPC.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans inline with company’s strategic goals and objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality & Safety standards.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar tools, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with EPC’s (Project Site Team, SCM, Design, Solar CC, QHSE, Admin, Evac, etc.) to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project financials, maintaining cash flows, cost control, and financial reporting, to maximize project profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mechanical , Construction Management, or a related field with 8-12 years of overall working experience. 
  • PMP certification (preferred).
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in the solar energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar project lifecycle, from development to operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Knowledge of Engineering/Design review of Rooftop/Ground mounted projects
  • Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
