Could you be the full-time Project RS on-board design Engineer in our dynamic Project Engineering Team we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electronic or electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, solution-oriented, and collaborative teammates.
You'll lead the charge in delivering systems that are approved by our customers and consistent with project schedules. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Rolling Stock engineering team, Products/Systems development teams), supervise system deliveries and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing system architecture, defining and allocating requirements, but also organizing Design Reviews.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring the system meets QCD commitments (quality, cost, delivery)
Acting as the direct technical interface with Rolling Stock for your field
Supervising the system deliveries from requirements management to detailed design
Contributing to the functional validation phase of the system
Ensuring adherence to quality processes within your domain
Participating in Risk and Savings Reviews
Managing supplier interactions and integration of technical solutions in case of buy solutions
