QA ENGINEER 4Summary of the Role

In this role, you will drive the quality strategy for complex backend systems, APIs, and provider integrations. You will define test approaches, influence design decisions, mentor QA engineers, and ensure end‑to‑end quality across releases. You’ll work independently within established frameworks while contributing to continuous improvement across tools, processes, and test architecture.



In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities
  • Define and execute test strategies for functional and non‑functional areas, ensuring alignment with CI/CD and industry standards (e.g., ISTQB, SDL).



  • Design, automate, and execute test cases for backend systems, APIs, and integrations; maintain regression suites and evaluate test stability.



  • Review requirements and design documents early, influence technical decisions from a quality perspective, and ensure full traceability.



  • Manage defects end‑to‑end—identify, report, validate fixes, and assess release readiness.



  • Mentor QA engineers, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen QA practices, tooling, and automation frameworks across the product line.




About the Ideal Candidate



  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).



  • Hands‑on experience testing backend systems, APIs, web services, and provider integrations.



  • Skilled in test architecture, automation strategy, defect management, and risk‑based quality assessment.



  • Experience with tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, Git, Jenkins, XML testing, and any automation/regression framework; exposure to cloud testing is a plus.



  • Collaborative communicator with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to mentor others and contribute to Agile delivery.
