Role Summary & Role Description
This position is responsible to test one or multiple application’s depending upon the context or business requirement under AIS Reporting group of applications. Looking for a candidate having around 5-9 years of experience in Software testing with good knowledge and working experience in with Automation testing using Selenium and Java and good knowledge in SQL and database concepts.
Exceptionally strong in Automation testing using Java and Selenium.
Good knowledge in SQL writing skills for database Testing to ensure data integrity, validating database consistency and verifying accurate transaction
Create test plans, test strategies, test cases and test summary results artifacts
Validate Iteration stories and maintain regression in cucumber/testing framework (SQL - 30%, Automation - 70%)
Perform functional, integration and regression testing
Execute manual and automated test cases, document defects and test findings in JIRA
Work with business analysts and end-users.
End to End ownership of the application.
Banking and financial domain knowledge with Agile methodology is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Core/Must have skills
Strong Automation experience preferably using Java and Selenium
Strong Functional Testing knowledge
Good PL/SQL knowledge is needed, Need to have working experience in writing SQLs using Joins, Subqueries, Aggregate functions. Having knowledge on advanced functions and ETL is a plus
Good knowledge and working experience on Agile Scrum methodology
Good to have skills
Jemmy automation tool knowledge is a big plus.
Good to have working experience on BDD Cucumber
Good to have Unix experience
Asset Management Knowledge
