Recruitment Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our financial services recruitment agency in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract and hire top talent in the financial services sector. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of recruitment best practices and the ability to lead a team effectively. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, while also ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of recruitment targets.
2. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the financial services sector, utilizing various sourcing channels.
3. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position.
4. Screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
5. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely reporting of recruitment metrics.
6. Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other stakeholders to enhance the recruitment process.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
8. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes to senior management.
10. Foster a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Recruitment Supervisor or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
2. Strong understanding of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions.
6. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
8. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
9. Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
10. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
