Release Train Engineer should be able to create the environment for a team to deliver value, be highly independent, confident in their abilities and flexible enough to adapt to an evolving landscape.
  Organize and facilitate key ART ceremonies, including PI (Program Increment) planning, daily stand-ups, system demos, and retrospectives.
Oversee the Release Planning & Execution of program-level objectives, ensuring that work progresses according to schedule and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement at the program level by identifying areas of process inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a culture of lean and agile practices.
Facilitate ART Performance Tracking and report progress, performance, and metrics related to ART delivery, including burndowns, velocity, and quality indicators.
Promote and enforce SAFe best practices within the ART, ensuring alignment with the agile principles and goals and enabling leadership and teams to become high performing.
Assisting the self-organizing, self-managing ART to achieve its goals.
Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives, guiding teams through SAFe practices, and driving continuous improvement through Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Value Stream Integration (VSI).
Collaborate with Product Management, and development teams to ensure that the ART is aligned in terms of release goals, schedules, and requirements.
Handle the escalations and conflict within the teams.
Experience working with geographically dispersed clients.
  Excellent communication and articulation skills.
Key Skills required: Typical Experience: Total 9-15 years IT experience working in Agile software development environments.
  Hands on experience as Release Train Engineer or in a similar role within a scaled agile framework for at least 4+ years.
Hands on experience in waterfall, hybrid, and agile projects Experience in using Scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile & DevOps.
SAFe RTE or Leading SAFe or equivalent certification.
Other relevant certifications (e.
g., SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant) a plus.
Bachelors in engineering / MBA.
  Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflict constructively.
  Knowledge and experience of other agile, lean and DevOps approaches (e.
g., XP, Kanban, TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, etc.
)  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
