Job Description


Rockwell Automation is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our growing APAC organization. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the expert in building pipeline within targeted geographies and market segments. You will research and identify net-new business opportunities and have a direct impact in our revenue generation goals. This role is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your core sales skills acumen as you work alongside software sales leaders. We hire driven individuals who excel and can succeed in a client-facing sales career, and are comfortable with achieving/exceeding metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and sales quotas.


As Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the entry-level role into a client-facing sales career at Rockwell Automation. Our SDR team supports our software sales teams by assisting them through fielding inbound inquiries. Successful SDRs critically think and learn through coaching, build upon, and improve their skills throughout their tenure in this role. we have a program to train SDR's on manufacturing, our software solutions, and sales methodologies. As Sales Development Representative, you will create new business pipeline and interest through calling on inbound leads.


You will be reporting to Manager, Enterprise Software Sales.


Job Responsibilities -


  • You will partner with Software sales/ Account Executives to help move along qualified pipeline through the sales cycle
  • You will manage a high volume of inbound leads with a strategy on prioritization of your leads
  • You will run targeted outbound campaigns and sales plays with out reach of 40 calls per day
  • You have existing experience of using platforms like LinkedIn Sales navigator, Zoominfo, Outreach is desirable
  • You will build a point of view on how to help qualify customers' needs
  • You will build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections
  • Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas
