Overview:
Johnson Controls isseekinga skilled and motivatedSalesforce Developerto join our dynamic Product Team. In this role, you will design, build, enhance, andmaintainour enterpriseB2B Commerceapplication within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate brings strongexpertisein Salesforce development and a demonstrated ability to deliver scalable,highquality, and maintainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to translate business needs into effective Salesforce functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and deploy robust Salesforce applications and solutions tailored to business requirements. 

  
  

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define technical requirements. 

  
  

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code usingApex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce,Flowand related Salesforce technologies. 

  
  

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and platform governance limits. 

  
  

• Integrate Salesforce withthird-partysystems usingREST/SOAP APIsandevent-driven architectures. 

  
  

• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure functionality and reliability. 

  
  

• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications by addressing defects, technical debt, and enhancement requests. 

  
  

• Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging technologies; recommend improvements where applicable.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. 

  
  

• Minimum of3years ofhands-onSalesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC,Aura,Visualforce,and Flow. 

  
  

• Proven experience building and managingExperience Cloud sites using the LWR framework(required). 

  
  

• Knowledge ofSalesforce Commerce Cloud,Coveo, andAgentforceis an advantage. 

  
  

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, standard and custom objects, security, and sharing models. 

  
  

• Experience with Salesforce integrations usingREST/SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns,SSO, Named Credentials, Connected Apps, Canvas Apps, andiframe. 

  
  

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such asJiraorAzure Boards. 

  
  

• Solid front-end skills withJavaScript, HTML, CSS, SLDS, and the Lightning Component Library. 

  
  

• Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and development lifecycle. 

  
  

• Experience withGitand CI/CD pipelines. 

  
  

• Salesforce Certifications (e.g.,Platform Developer I,PlatformAdministrator) are highly preferred. 

  
  

• Excellent analytical andproblem-solvingskills with strong attention to detail. 

  
  

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. 

  
  

• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
