What will you contribute?



Reporting to the Giriraj Mahajan as a Scrum Master for the US‑Hosted Payments group, you will play a key role in enabling high‑quality delivery of payment platform features and production support capabilities. You will guide teams in adopting Agile principles, support smooth execution of sprint activities, remove impediments, and help drive continuous improvement while collaborating closely with developers, QA, and Product owners and cross‑functional stakeholders. This position is located in [Pune].




Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Scrum Master will include, but are not limited to, the following:



Agile Delivery & Team Facilitation



  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team follows Agile best practices while aligning with organizational delivery expectations.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog prioritization, refinement, and maintaining healthy sprint scope.
  • Track and communicate sprint progress, team capacity, and delivery risks.

Scrum Master Duties and Responsibilities 



• Support, guide and assist team members in their day-to-day software development challenges. 



• Understanding the vision, short and long-term goals & product backlog to ensure smooth implementation.  



• Facilitate Scrum meetings such as daily standup, Sprint planning, Release planning, Sprint review, etc.  



• Identify and coordinate dependencies with external teams and stakeholders.



• Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters ownership, creativity, and innovation. 



• Remove impediments by finding the right stakeholder to help move forward. • Provide Agile coaching to teams on all aspects of the project management framework, with a strong focus on Scrum practices 



• Transfer knowledge and helping teams continuously reflect and improve, becoming more effective in their roles and increasing the outcome, collaboration, and quality practices 



• Continue to evangelize the need for top-down support for agile culture and values to achieve maximum results from the use of agile practices 



• Demonstrate and share experiences and observations with all team members and to ensure best practices are being used and recommends process improvement 



• Oversee the overall objective cohesion of initiatives involving many scrum teams and leads initiative performance 



• Assess emerging trends/best practices and determines implications of proposed methodologies on meeting business unit strategy 



• Work hands-on with other engineering teams, product, and program management to own the team's deliverable timelines and provide transparent progress and risk analysis. 



• Provide architectural guidance and fresh ideas in our core areas of distributed computing, high-performance storage, and cloud computing. 



• Mentor and take an active part in smart designs, efficient code, and collaborative code reviews. 



• Own and promote quality in every part of the team's deliveries and activities. 



• Don’t assume - constantly revisit how we work and whether our productivity is tuned. 



• Lead - demonstrate a can-do attitude and promote our goals, from planning to release. 



Desired experience:  



• 3+ year experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in global R&D organization in complex and large projects.  



• Extensive experience using Scrum and a deep understanding of Agile principles practices and values.  



• Robust design and development skills, regarded as a Senior in his/her domain.  



• Experience with FinTech industry - Advantage
