As a Senior Developer – Planview (Adaptive Work), you will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions for Project Execution platforms within Siemens Energy. Your day will involve close collaboration with cross-functional and business stakeholders to gain deep insight into project planning, execution, and financial control processes. You will work on impactful initiatives that strengthen integration, scalability, and performance of Planview solutions, directly supporting Siemens Energy’s digital transformation and enterprise project execution landscape.


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions within Planview AdaptiveWork, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows, and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure configurations and customizations.
  • Build, enhance, and support integrations with enterprise systems through Planview Enterprise (PE) Integration layers, ensuring data consistency and a single source of truth across modules.
  • Develop custom features, reports, dashboards, and automation scripts to improve system usability and operational efficiency.
  • Estimate development effort, assess risks, and recommend appropriate development approaches for new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement solutions to meet quality, compliance, and security standards.
  • Continuously optimize the performance of existing solutions by identifying bottlenecks, streamlining configurations, and improving scalability, reliability, and system responsiveness.

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 6–10 years of experience in IT architecture and enterprise application development, including at least four full-cycle implementations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Planview AdaptiveWork, including modules for scheduling, financials, risk management, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile and LEAN principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and solid analytical thinking.
