Project description We're seeking a highly skilled and hands-on DevOps Engineer with deep experience across Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud-native automation. In this project, you will work with a global team to streamline software delivery, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable operations across multi-cloud environments. At Luxoft, we drive innovation through agile product development and DevOps maturity. This initiative focuses on transforming enterprise DevOps practices through automation-first principles, cloud-native infrastructure, and robust observability. You will play a key role in implementing IaC using Terraform, automating pipelines across Azure DevOps and Bitbucket, and managing AWS developer services like Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway. Responsibilities Key Roles & Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, deploy, and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve the speed and reliability of releases. Infrastructure Automation: Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). System Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring systems for applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or the ELK Stack. Implement alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks or system failures. Collaboration with Development and Operations Teams: Work closely with software developers to ensure that applications are designed to work in cloud environments. Security and Compliance: Ensure that all systems are secure and comply with relevant standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA). Implement security controls within the CI/CD pipeline, such as automated security tests and vulnerability scanning. Maintain up-to-date patches and secure configurations for all infrastructure and applications. A DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between software development and IT operations by automating processes, improving system reliability, and fostering collaboration between teams. They focus on streamlining software delivery pipelines, infrastructure management, and system monitoring to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable operations along with strong problem-solving and communication. Skills Must have verall 6-10+ years of experience Primary Skills IaC tools Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible CI/CD tools Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps methodologies Secondary Skills: Expertise with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes (or alternatives like OpenShift) for orchestration. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), DataDog, or Splunk.
