Role Summary


We are hiring a Senior DevOps / Linux Administrator with strong experience in Linux, automation, cloud (AWS), CI/CD, troubleshooting, and platform reliability. The role requires deep technical ownership, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to support high‑availability systems used for fraud detection.


Key Responsibilities


Platform & Infrastructure Engineering


  • Design, build, automate, and operate highly available and secure platforms.
  • Ensure full observability through monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Engineer systems to fail gracefully without customer impact.
  • Manage Linux infrastructure across physical servers and AWS cloud environments.

DevOps, CI/CD & Automation


  • Automate deployments and infrastructure using Shell, Python, Ansible.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, Artifactory, GitHub.
  • Enable fast, reliable deployments and seamless environment stability.

Cloud Engineering (AWS)


  • Implement and manage AWS services such as:
    • EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, ALB/NLB, Route 53, Security Groups
  • Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost.
  • Troubleshoot hybrid infra issues across on‑prem and AWS.

Incident, Problem & Performance Management


  • Lead operational incident triage and blameless post‑mortems.
  • Drive permanent fixes and reduce operational toil.
  • Troubleshoot across application, infrastructure, cloud, and network layers.

Monitoring & Observability


  • Configure and optimize monitoring using Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.
  • Build dashboards and alerts to support proactive detection.

Networking & Security


  • Expert troubleshooting in:
    • TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers
    • TLS/SSL certificates
    • Firewalls, proxies, routing
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Collaboration & Leadership


  • Lead technical calls and war rooms when needed.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with developers, security, and operations teams to deliver platform improvements.

Required Skills & Experience


  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Linux Administration, SRE, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong Linux/Unix skills (Red Hat Administrator level)
  • Advanced scripting: Shell, Python (Java optional)
  • DevOps tools: Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins/TeamCity, Artifactory
  • Monitoring: Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch
  • AWS experience:
    • EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, ELB/ALB/NLB
    • CloudWatch, Route 53, Security Groups
    • Troubleshooting AWS‑based applications and infra
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure fundamentals
  • Experience with Python/Java‑based applications (support/troubleshooting)
  • Integration troubleshooting (upstream, downstream, in‑stream)
  • ETL tools (Ab Initio or similar) — nice to have

Education


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering fields.
