SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

We are seeking application for the position of Senior Engineer-Design in Kochi Metro Project.

1. Review the previous and on-going related studies and data collected
2. Review and approve conceptual drawings for viaduct, at grade, special bridge (If any, cross –over, long spans), stations and other structures that would be submitted by the contractors.
3. Review and approve all the designs and drawings, modifications calculations etc., that would be submitted by the contractors.
4. Review all civil and structural designs submitted by contractors as per the contractual provisions, including, the calculations, drawings, specifications, as required
5. Coordinate with all experts / staff related to Civil, Structural, Building, Architectural works and Systems.

• Post Graduate (ME/M.Tech) in Structural Engg. from a reputed institution
• Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 10 years experience should be in the design of elevated Metro Rail projects / elevated rail based transit; and should also possess design experience in at least one elevated metro rail project including foundation design, Steel, Concrete (Precast & Cast in Situ)
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
• Software: STAAD, E-Tabs, AutoCAD
