Your impact

The Senior Engineer – Piping Material will lead piping material engineering activities across EPC/PMC/EPCM projects, including developing and reviewing piping and valve specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor documents to ensure technical integrity, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence. The role requires strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, and API codes, along with proficiency in MTO systems, ERP tools, and material management software. Candidates should have experience across industries such as advanced facilities, data centers, pharmaceuticals, solar, EV, chemicals, fertilizers, semiconductors, renewables, and life sciences, and be capable of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support high‑quality and efficient project execution.

  • Review Licensor/Client technical documents and ensure compliance with project and piping material standards.
  • Verify MSD, MSR, and process service index alignment with Piping Material Specifications.
  • Prepare piping material deliverables and estimate required man-hours.
  • Develop Piping Material Specifications (PMS) per process conditions, design codes, and Client/Licensor requirements.
  • Perform key piping calculations (thickness, vacuum, branch reinforcement, bends, spectacle blinds) as per ASME/API/ASTM.
  • Coordinate with clients and disciplines to resolve technical queries and maintain deliverable quality.
  • Prepare MR, TBE, and PR for piping components and specialty items.
  • Review vendor documents, attend KOM, and manage piping material packages.
  • Ensure piping material design meets safety, reliability, SID principles, and project cost targets.
  • Deliver all material-related documents within project schedule.





Here's what you'll need

  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 8–12 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and familiarity with major international codes and standards.
  • Proficient in metallic (CS, LTCS, SS, Duplex, Low Alloy) and non‑metallic (GRE, FRP, HDPE) piping systems.
  • Experience with non‑metallic piping is an added advantage.
  • Strong reporting, planning, and scheduling skills.
  • EPC experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or fertilizer projects.
  • Knowledge of material management tools (Smart Plant Materials, Marian, Aveva ERM).
  • Understanding of high‑purity gases (Argon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ASME NM.1, NM.2, and SEMI standards
