Job Description

This role is based in our office in Bangalore, Global Technology Park, Bellandur


The Senior EUC Engineer will be a key member of the End User Computing (EUC) team, which provides specialised group-wide services across Informa’s divisions. This role requires a highly skilled professional to lead initiatives, implement solutions, and deliver exceptional support within the EUC space.

Key Responsibilities


  • Intune Administration: Deployment of Desktop Configurations using Intune Configuration Policies, Remediation Scripts and Applications.
  • Lead Engineer for Admin by Request: Manage and optimise the Privilege Management tool to ensure it delivers maximum organisational benefits.
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the packaging, upgrading, and patching of applications using Intune.
  • Security Collaboration: Analyse security tool outputs, collaborate with the security team to mitigate vulnerabilities, and ensure minimal impact on end-user experience and system performance.
  • Device Configuration and Implementation: Architect and implement build configurations for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices using cutting-edge technologies. Deliver value-driven solutions while achieving long-term design objectives.
  • Prototype Design and Planning: Develop prototype designs for EUC initiatives, supporting approval processes, planning, and decision-making.
  • Innovation and Automation: Leverage industry trends and innovations to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, automate processes, and improve the end-user experience.
  • Advanced Support and Problem Management: Provide 3rd-level support for complex incidents and lead problem management efforts.
  • Agile Collaboration: Work closely with team members and contribute to projects using Agile Scrum methodology.

Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience: At least 8 years of experience in supporting and managing Windows desktops in an enterprise-level environment, particularly within a Level 3 team.
  • Solution Design Expertise: Proven ability to design and implement solutions in the EUC domain.
  • PowerShell Proficiency: Strong skills in writing and modifying PowerShell scripts, connecting to APIs, and deploying scripts via Intune. A keen focus on automation is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Windows 11 deployment and management using Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune MDM, Group Policy Management, and PowerShell scripting.
    • Application packaging and deployment using Intune, with experience in PowerShell Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).
    • Vulnerability assessment tools such as Defender, with the ability to remediate vulnerabilities using Intune.
    • Hardening Windows desktop devices using CIS benchmarks and Microsoft security baselines.
    • Familiarity with Virtual Desktop technologies.
  • Communication and Training: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, support teams, and end users, including providing training and knowledge transfer when needed.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A strong focus on delivering excellent service to end users, coupled with outstanding organisational skills to manage a busy workload.
  • Teamwork and Self-Management: Ability to work collaboratively within a small team while independently managing personal deliverables.
