This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1300000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 13-20 LPA) Min Experience: 7 years Location: Chennai JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications.
This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor engineers, and work closely with Product, QA, and Infrastructure teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications Own the full development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support Convert business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions Design and manage databases, create DB objects, reports, and support ETL activities Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and reviews Independently plan and deliver small to mid-sized projects Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Infrastructure teams for seamless delivery Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, including occasional off-hours support Drive continuous improvement through automation, performance tuning, and process enhancements Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC Experience designing and building Microservices-based architectures Solid understanding of design patterns and scalable system design Frontend experience with Angular, React, Next.
js, or Vue.
js Strong database skills with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Proficiency with build tools like Maven or Gradle Hands-on experience with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab) Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Experience building mid to high-scale internet or enterprise web applications Knowledge of application performance testing and optimization techniques Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across time zones Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset Skills Java Microservices AngularJS ReactJS SQL AWS
