The Role

As a Senior HVAC Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Key Accountabilities :-

• Engineering and designing of HVAC systems for petrochemical, chemical, power plants, Onshore-Substations & Control room, Industries, IT Server Rooms,
• Develop HVAC systems design from concept stage after understanding functional, operational and project specific requirements.
• Inter-discipline co-ordination with Architect, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping & Process for understanding project basic requirements at each engineering stage and provide inputs to disciplines.
• Develop basis of design, Technical specification and cost estimate document for HVAC system.
• Perform Heat load calculations, selection and designing of equipment, HVAC piping design, ducting design, Pipe and Duct routing, electrical power and control wiring design, HVAC space management.
• Ventilation calculations for various industrial applications.
• Develop BOQ, Material requisitions, tender specifications & drawings for the HVAC system and issuing the same for vendor offer.
• Technical evaluation of vendor offers and giving technical recommendations
• Checking and coordination of drawings and documents submitted by vendors and getting the same in line with the requirements of the project.
• Checking interface with other services in the plant.
• Site visits for coordinating site installation activities, trouble shooting and ensuring timely deliveries and drawing preparation by Vendors.
• Innovative thoughts and solutions combined with ability to demonstrate and convince stakeholders on proposed solutions
• Engineer Shall be able to guide guide draftsman for the preparation of HVAC drawings and shop drawings (D&IDs, AFDs, GAs etc) and Review of 3D model.
• Prepare SOW for HVAC contractor and coordinate with HVAC vendors.
• Knowledge of quality aspects as per ISO 9001 is necessary.
• Effective verbal and written communication is necessary. Candidate shall have ability to interface with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and Clients.
• Willingness to travel in India and abroad.
• Handle one or more Projects independently.

• Timely delivery of projects with right quality, within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate within team and other departments and projects to minimize quality errors claims.
• Continuously improve methods and lessons learnt to optimize client value.
• Ability to quickly assess and make recommendations (rapid problem solving) regarding HVAC issues.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• 12 – 15 years of experience is needed.
• B.E. Mechanical (from Recognized University).
