The position
As a Senior IT Developer I, you will be responsible for solution design, interface development, and support in Confluent Kafka and MAP as per business needs within the area of Enterprise Integration. The key responsibilities include:


  • Providing expertise and hands-on experience working on Kafka Connect using schema registry in a very high-volume environment.
  • Providing expertise on Avro-Converters, Json-Converters, and String Converters. Additionally, providing expertise and hands-on experience working on Kafka connectors such as MQ connectors, Elastic Search connectors, JDBC connectors, File stream connector, JMS source connectors, Tasks, Workers, converters, and Transforms.
  • Creating topics, setting up redundancy clusters, deploying monitoring tools, alerts, and having good knowledge of best practices, Supporting System, Project, and Business Area Managers regarding data and integration.
  • Working closely with System Managers and integration architects to improve service delivery.
  • Involving in getting new projects onboarded on Kafka and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Providing architecture design solutions for MAP APIs and Mentoring the team on MuleSoft technology and supporting projects with the development of APIs on MuleSoft and helping troubleshoot issues.
  • Aligning with stakeholders and providing expertise on requirement gathering, proposing appropriate integration solutions, and Solution Design in MuleSoft.
  • Explaining complex technical issues of MAP to project managers, developers, and architects in an easy-to-understand manner and recommending clearly thought-out solutions.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:


  • B. Tech in Computer Engineering or a similar background.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT domain
  • 9+ years of relevant experience working in MuleSoft and Confluent Kafka Cloud.
  • Experience from working on a large project in cross-geographical domains.
  • Experience working in an Agile setup, understanding of SCRUM framework.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD setup, GIT, Maven, etc.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, where MVPs can be synthesized in unknown areas.
  • Strong communication skills and effective teamwork in a fast-paced, corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in developing RESTful web services.
  • Interpersonal skills, as this requires a lot of interaction with stakeholders.
  • Drive/curiosity to navigate an area where there is no set path.
  • Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills

The Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) department at Novo Nordisk is a team of over 1000 highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. DD&IT GBS India is responsible for managing IT systems, projects, infrastructure, compliance, security, processes, and vendors.
