Overview:


In this role you will be ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic components used in our company products.


You will be responsible for developing and executing qualification plans, conducting tests, analyzing test results and making recommendations for component selections and usage. This position requires strong understating of electronic components, testing methodologies and industry standards.


Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3)


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Interpretation of customer requirements into test definitions.
  • Develop and execute qualification plans for electronic product/components based on product requirements, risk assessments.
  • Generation of test equipment definitions to support Qualification Test activities.
  • Able to perform Qualification testing where required monitoring and recording appropriate data throughout and analyze test data for correctness.
  • Collaborate with design engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure for proper component selections and usage.
  • Performing Function/Acceptance tests of Development units.
  • Awareness and Involvement in all aspects of Development EH&S.
  • Sourcing of external test facilities.
  • Assistance in off-site testing including transportation, assembly and commissioning of all necessary support equipment, and performance of function tests during off-site testing.
  • Actively participate in a team environment to meet project objectives.
  • Failure reporting of the tests and working with cross functional teams to analyze the failures.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent with 8 to 12 years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge in industrial instrumentation ex: Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, LISN etc.

Preferred Experience / Skills:


  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics verification and validation activities.
  • Experience in various EMI / EMC, power quality testing.
  • Knowledge of aerospace product compliance, qualification, and certification.
  • Strong Knowledge in MIL-STD-810D, MIL-STD-461G, BS.3G, RTCA DO-160.
  • Knowledge of measurement instruments, data acquisition and instrumentation calibration.
  • Strong application of health and safety compliance and risk assessment.
