For one of our clients in the Insurance Segment, we are searching for a Mainframe Developer. Responsibilities Work in Agile teams to deliver stories and to develop product features Provide technical and domain thought-leadership Review and approve software design and developed code Provide effective design/solutions for implementing product features Skills Must have About 5 to 8 years of professional IT experience in developing software applications using Mainframe technology Solid programming discipline: unit testing, fault tolerance, complexity analysis, design patterns, etc. Strong Knowledge in COBOL, JCL, Telon and CICS Knowledge of database systems such as DB2, IMS and MS SQL server Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as ADCP tools Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc ) is preferred An evident appreciation of current and emerging technology trends Good communication and customer-facing skills Nice to have Experience in the insurance domain Other Languages English: C1 Advanced Seniority Senior
