Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (Budgeting & Forecasting)
Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership & Capability Building – Manage and mentor the FPnA team, fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement
· Forecasting & Budgeting – Lead periodic forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets
· Integrated Planning – Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, and business units to create integrated financial plans that support strategic decision-making
· Financial Reporting – Prepare and analysis monthly management reports, variance analyses, and business performance dashboards for leadership review
· Business Insights – Deliver data-driven insights through trend analysis, scenario modelling, and profitability reviews to support strategic and operational decisions
· Performance Management – Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and cost efficiency
· Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leadership to translate financial outcomes into actionable strategies, driving accountability across business units
· Continuous Improvement – Enhance forecasting models, reporting processes, and analytical tools to improve accuracy, agility, and decision support
· Governance & Reporting – Lead structured governance through regular reviews, dashboards, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control
· Problem Solving & Issue Resolution – Provide analytical insight, investigate root causes of accounting discrepancies, and implement sustainable corrective actions
· Stakeholder & Client Management – Act as the primary liaison for clients and internal finance leadership, managing expectations, resolving escalations, and driving continuous partnership
Minimum Qualifications:
· CA / CPA / M-Com / B-Com or Graduate in Finance
· Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance FP&A processes
· Experience in working with an insurance client is an added advantage

Preferred Skill Set:
· Thorough knowledge of the Accounting Procedures
· Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
· Experience with accounting software, like Oracle, Blackline, EPM tools, etc.
· Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
· Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
· Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
· Strong time management skills
· Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
