Senior Manager, Software Development

Building on our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health Foundations EMR, while building out a innovative cloud based supporting modernized, automated healthcare.

We are looking for hands-on managers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

Qualifications:

▪ Minimum 10+ years of software product development experience with expertise in full stack development/coding with proficiency in Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, and SQL.

▪ Strong expertise and practical experience in building highly scalable, large and complex technical projects from concept to production

▪ Demonstrated expertise in migrating legacy systems to cloud platforms, including strategy development, execution, and optimization.

▪ 5+ years of experience of growing and leading successful teams.

▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

▪ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software

development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases

according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements

to the architecture.

▪ Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, set priorities, and deliver solutions that meet healthcare standards and regulations.

▪ Develop and implement a strategic roadmap aligning it with the company's objectives and healthcare industry trends.
