Senior Mobile Developer (React Native and Angular)

About the Team:


Team is involved in building scalable and performant mobile applications for both the iOS and Android platforms. Deep experience of modern development practices with an Agile scrum environment. Responsible for participating in architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.


What you will be doing:


  • Build pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms.
  • Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
  • Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
  • Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

What you bring:


  • 6 to 10 years of experience as a Mobile developer.
  • Firm grasp of the JavaScript (and TypeScript or ClojureScript) language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
  • Knowledge of Angular, Ionic/NativeScript to be able to build mobile apps based on Angular.
  • Knowledge of (functional or object-oriented) programming.
  • Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code and/or typescript code.
  • Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
  • Familiarity with build tools like Visual Studio Code and native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ)
  • Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
  • Experience with unit testing with Jest, RNTL, Jasmine/Karma.
  • Experience with automated testing suites for E2E testing, like Detox, Cypress.
