About the Role: Senior Network Engineer


The Team: Global Network Services is seeking a Senior DNS, DHCP and IPAM engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team, where you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge network and security infrastructure.  Our team is characterized by its multi-functional, multi-disciplinary approach, bringing together experts in various network domains to create a collaborative and innovative environment.  We value continuous learning, excellence, and a proactive mindset.



Responsibilities and Impact:


  • Design and implement global network and security infrastructure solutions across data centre, cloud, and campus environments.


  • Develop and lead initiatives to evaluate the applicability and fit of new technologies and approaches, as well as defining the standards and best-practices for their use within S&P Global.


  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to drive the achievement of our business goals through the identification and prioritization of key initiatives.


  • Serve as a subject matter expert for S&P Global's network and security infrastructure, offering third-line support to address complex issues.


  • Develop and implement automated solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure seamless adaptability to evolving technological landscapes.


What We’re Looking For:


Basic Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years’ experience designing and implementing multi-vendor network solutions across hybrid multi-cloud environments.


  • Excellent knowledge of networking standards, protocols, and technologies.


  • Experience working with a broad range of network and security technologies e.g. load balancers, firewalls, WAF, proxies, etc.


  • Qualified Specialist in one or more of the following: Routing & Switching, Security, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).


  • Delivery focused with an attention to detail.


  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Additional Preferred Qualifications:


  • Network automation experience is preferred especially experience designing, developing, and deploying, Python- based solutions following software development best practices.
