Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven manager to lead our efforts in eliminating vendor-caused Customer return defects. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce defects, improve vendor processes, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Goal Setting:
• Define and drive business goals for vendor-caused defect elimination
• Develop comprehensive strategies to achieve significant reductions in return rates
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
• Form and manage cross-functional project teams to drive key programs
• Collaborate with various departments including Retail, Operations, and Technology
Data-Driven Culture and Process Improvement:
• Foster a data-oriented culture within the team and across relevant departments
• Identify and implement technology solutions and process improvements to achieve business goals through upstream defect elimination
Defect elimination:
• Identify gaps in vendor onboarding, engagement processes, and contracts
• Develop and implement solutions to eliminate system gaps related to vendor-caused Return defects
Technology Integration:
• Work closely with technology and operational teams to identify use cases and requirements
• Implement sustainable, scalable solutions to support defect elimination efforts
Stakeholder Management:
• Manage communication across multiple lines of business regarding project milestones, process changes, and escalations
• Drive MBR and QBR

The RBS is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team is designed to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection and good product information. The team’s primary role is to create and enhance retail selection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience.
