This position is in our People & Culture Services organization. P&C Services is at the heart of driving HR transformation across SAP, defining and orchestrating the way HR services are consumed by our 100K+ workforce. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of HR (HRD) in India. You get to be right in the center of strategic activities that directly impact employees and managers in your region, working in partnership with key business leaders of the location. You will lead and support regional/country projects in scope of the HRD organization, contributing to HR topics and providing support to the Regional or Country HRD, while working in close collaboration with the wider People & Culture organization globally.


The main purpose of the PMO´s job is to:


  • Own the People Agenda for the country by understanding the needs of the employees and driving SAP’s success from a people-perspective
  • Coordinate and execute strategic HR initiatives and projects, ensuring the successful management and prioritization of actions to meet set goals and objectives. 
  • Act as a key interface and trusted strategic advisor to the HRD and HR Leadership Team in India, bringing coherence and collaboration across different HR functions.
  • Facilitate effective communication, building relationships and a collaborative environment while acting as a liaison between the Head of HR Office, employees, and other internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Ensure high level of quality in internal People communications
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive internal presentations using data storytelling, and executive communications, for internal and external purposes. 
  • Collaborate across regions with other PMOs on execution of global initiatives.
  • Proactively resolve unforeseeable events, inquiries, and escalations. 

What you bring


  • Over 8 years of professional experience, preferably in an HR role. 
  • Experience in driving topics such as Skilling, Leadership development, and Diversity & Inclusion, to name a few.
  • Proven ability to work under management and time pressure, demonstrating resilience and adaptability, with a keen ability to independently solve problems. 
  • Love to get out of your comfort zone to deliver extraordinary results 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle numerous tasks simultaneously for efficient and effective outcomes. 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail and a positive "can-do" attitude. 
  • Demonstrated sophisticated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt communication styles, being assertive or diplomatic as needed for the situation. 
  • Solid experience in project coordination and management with proactive planning next steps and manage parallel priorities across multiple stakeholders. 
  • Extensive business acumen with a good understanding of human resource functions to contribute effectively to the organization's overall goals and objectives. 
  • You have solid and reliable skills with MS Office applications (Word, PPT, Excel) – for example: can build a ppt presentation and do a pivot chart in excel
  • Certification or working knowledge in Change management, Systems Thinking, Strategic Workforce planning and Leadership would be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English (spoken + written)
