Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent SQL skills, proven experience in end-to-end QA processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with automation tools and frameworks is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API applications
• Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing across platforms
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
• Conduct API testing including request/response validation, error handling, and security checks
• Validate UI/UX functionality for web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to automation strategy and frameworks (where applicable)
• Ensure QA best practices, documentation, and quality standards are followed

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Software QA & Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with:
•        API testing
•        Web application testing
•        Mobile application testing
• Strong SQL querying and data validation skills
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Proven ability to analyze requirements and design test strategies
• Strong defect management & root-cause analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, Postman automation, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts
• Exposure to cloud-based environments

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hybrid work model, employees are required to work from the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Working Hours: India shift ends at either 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST.
• Work Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune
