Job Description

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Consumer Canvas team. Consumer Canvas is an exciting product that provides new and richer ways for our clients to reach advanced audiences and conduct deep market research. This role bridges technical implementation and client success, ensuring seamless integration and activation of data-driven solutions that power advanced audience insights.


The ideal candidate will have experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Data Clean Rooms, data matching, and handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). They will work with clients and partners to develop and deploy matching, enrichment, and activation solutions. You will serve as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams, translating business needs into scalable engineering solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with Product owners, clients, and our development team to clarify, analyze, and assess requirements.
  • Build data matching, enrichment, and activation solutions on top of the Consumer Canvas identity spine, PII data, and infrastructure.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams, translating business needs into scalable engineering solutions.
  • Provide onboarding support and technical guidance to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
  • Work closely with Product owners and the development team to identify scalable and repeatable solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in an Agile development environment.

Qualifications

5+ years in Big Data solutions engineering or related roles preferred. Experience in advanced advertising or market research applications is very valuable.


Data Platforms & Tools:


  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake data processing environments, especially Snowflake Data Clean Rooms.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks data processing environments.
  • Familiarity with data engineering Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
  • Experience with Big Data technologies and patterns.

Programming & Modeling:


  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Data modeling and data design.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and Python environment controllers (Poetry, PipEnv).

Governance & Security:


  • Experience handling PII data and working in clean rooms.

DevOps & CI/CD:


  • Hands-on experience with any of these code versioning tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, etc.).

Communication & Collaboration:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and client services.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Additional Valuable Skills:


  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with data activation platforms (e.g., LiveRamp, The Trade Desk).
  • Familiarity with identity resolution or customer data platforms (CDPs).
