Job title:
Senior Software Technologist I/II
Your role:
• Assists scrum teams in defining and implementing solutions suitable for hosting current and upcoming features within release trains, ensuring compliance with nonfunctional requirements, and focusing on architectural and design decisions.
• Ensures the creation and realization of architectures, encompassing products, solutions, services, and software within a release train, and may engage in some code development activities.
• Possesses deep knowledge of software development and design, as well as familiarity with healthcare standards, customer environments, compliance requirements, and regulations (e.g., FDA).
• Collaborates with key stakeholders, including product management, R&D/software leaders, and cross-functional teams such as Software DevOps, to align on architecture and design decisions.
• Focuses on the product level or business offering with a planning horizon of 6-12 months, ensuring strategic alignment and forward-thinking architectural planning at the release level.
• Holds accountability for architecture and requirements at the product/platform level, driving the alignment of technical aspects with business goals and ensuring cohesive product development.
• Leads innovation efforts with internal partners, primarily at the peer level, facilitating cross-disciplinary and supplier collaborations to enhance technical solutions.
• Engages in technical negotiations, addressing integral trade-offs with multiple internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring optimal solutions that balance various technical and business considerations.
• Understands and effectively applies the development logic of the Idea to Market (I2M) architecture and platform creation process, ensuring seamless interfacing with Application Development (AD) and Product Data Lifecycle Management (PDLM) suites.
• Performs decomposition and partitioning, re-using common and/or domain-specific platforms and technologies to streamline development efforts and ensure efficient utilization of resources.


•    Own architectural and technical responsibility for the Workflow in IGT
•    Author and review requirements and design documents
•    Design and deliver the key customer needs as software solution
•    Interface with stakeholders for requirements understanding, architecture clarifications etc.
•    Actively participate in project estimation, planning and risk management activities. 
•    Identify and escalate risks on time
•    Participate and contribute to roadmap definition and delivery
•    Work closely with the System Architect / Product Architect to identify & answer important product/solution questions through prototypes or solutions
•    Drive technical excellence and quality improvements across the team
•    Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System and regulatory requirements

1. Experience. 


Minimum 10 years of experience in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture


2. Key Technical Skills 


Strong Object Oriented development and design knowledge and Hands on experience in C++ Programming


Strong knowledge of Advanced C++; 


Good to have healthcare & Dicom knowledge


Strong knowledge of all phases of the SDLC


Familiarity with global healthcare regulations and interpretation


Knowledge of design patterns and practical applications


Expertise in development, testing and debugging skills


Strong abstraction, analytical and problem solving skills


Working experience in Agile/SAFe development methodologies


Able to generate new solutions from vague problem statements. Full ownership for creating requirements


Participates in full process, working in pairing mode with equal.


Is the technical coach of a team or domain, recognized and approached by team members.


Reviews, guides and coaches others in that domain.


Shares knowledge across teams.


Sets quality goals and development practices with the team


Can impact own and partially other teams results



3. Education. 


Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
