As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance SQL queries and database systems.
Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering seamless and efficient data solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries and database designs.
Assist in database design, normalization, and data modeling activities.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
Ensure data integrity and security while complying with industry standards.
Stay updated with the latest SQL and database technologies and trends.
Contract Remote Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in SQL development and database management.
Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases.
Strong knowledge of writing complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
Familiarity with database design principles and best practices.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience with modern version control systems (e.
