JOB DESCRIPTION:


The Opportunity:


We are seeking a UI Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to test the user interface (UI) of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to ensure that our product delivers an exceptional user experience with minimal defects.You will play a key role in enhancing our test automation processes, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring our UI remains stable, responsive, and bug-free across various devices and browsers.


What you’ll do..


  • Design and Develop Automation Frameworks: Build scalable, efficient, and reusable UI test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium similar.


  • Automated Test Scripts: Write automated test scripts for testing the UI of our web applications and automation suite up to date as the product evolves, ensuring that tests remain relevant and reliable.


  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop detailed test plans, including test cases, based on product requirements and user stories. Execute and monitor automated tests in different environments.


  • Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure that automated UI tests are executed across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).


  • Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automated UI tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure tests run automatically on every code change.


  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and continuously improve the automation process.


  • Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and report defects in the product during testing. Work with developers to triage issues and ensure timely resolutions.


  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in test automation. Suggest and implement improvements to the automation strategy, tools, and processes.


Who you are ?


  • 3+ years of experience in UI test automation with a focus on web applications.


  • Proficiency in Python.


  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks like.


  • Solid understanding of HTML to create and manage test scripts for dynamic web applications.


  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.


  • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.


  • Self-driven individual.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.


  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.


  • Prior experience of kickstarting UI automation from the ground up is preferred.
