Software Development Manager, EU INTech Partner Growth Experience

As a Software Development Manager, you'll build high-performance teams focused on creating intelligent, collaborative AI solutions powered by specialized agents that deliver seamless, personalized support at scale. You'll drive technical excellence and innovation while working alongside internationally recognized experts to develop novel solutions in Generative and Agentic AI.
In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide your team in creating large-scale, high-performing systems involving technologies like AgentCore, AgentMemory, Strands, and Model Context Protocol (MCPs). Your ability to make architectural decisions, mentor team members, and deliver results will be crucial as you help shape the future of AI solutions for Selling Partners and Retail users across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Foster a high-performing team through effective hiring, mentoring, and career development while providing guidance on complex technical challenges and architectural decisions.
- Define team structure and allocate resources to balance tactical needs against strategic goals, creating the appropriate mechanisms to scale operations and maintain quality.
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of large-scale Agentic AI systems that elevate customer experience through intelligent, collaborative solutions.
- Drive technical excellence by deeply understanding products and systems, facilitating technical discussions, and challenging assumptions to improve outcomes for customers.
- Partner with strategic technical stakeholders at both senior leadership and operational levels to develop innovative AI solutions that meet the needs of Selling Partners and Retail users.
A day in the life
Your day begins with a quick team stand-up to align on priorities and unblock any issues. You'll spend time reviewing architectural designs for new AI agent capabilities, providing feedback on technical approaches. Throughout the day, you'll meet with direct reports for mentoring sessions, make critical technical decisions about system design, and collaborate with product teams to refine requirements. You'll balance people management responsibilities with hands-on technical leadership, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining high engineering standards.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Familiarity with GenAI and Agentic AI technologies a plus
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
