Cisco Silicon One devices power both Cisco and third-party systems, ranging from hyperscaler AI clusters to service provider networks, enterprise campus networks, and data centers.



The Cisco Silicon One SDK team is responsible for developing and maintaining a unified Software Development Kit (SDK) that supports the entire Cisco Silicon One product family




Your Impact 



  • Develop and integrate products that are deployed by some of the leading enterprises in the world
  • Delivering a unified SDK that supports a broad portfolio of routing and switching devices optimized for different bandwidth, scale, cost, and power requirements.
  • Providing a programmable forwarding engine and ability to understand advanced AI related features that are applicable in networking domain
  • Facilitating faster development and deployment cycles by enabling the SDK team to develop once and hand off to other teams or customers who can deliver new capabilities on their own timelines.
  • Offering APIs in C++ and Python, a robust simulation environment, and actual hardware.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Experience: x-y years
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/EC or technical equivalent 
  • Able to write good software in C++ and Python
  • Experience with modern OS like Linux
  • Strong domain knowledge of Networking

Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong C programming experience
  • Strong networking experience in L2 / L3 / VXLAN / MPLS / ACL / QOS
  • Good understanding of networking architecture / OS fundamentals and algorithms
  • Experience in P4 is a plus
  • Hands on experience working with networking ASIC and troubleshooting data plane features is a plus
