Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst / Developer to support the Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA) team with smaller change requests and projects. The role involves understanding business needs, translating them into technical solutions, and delivering high-quality outputs in Tableau similar to larger-scale projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working directly with business users.


Responsibilities:


  • Understand and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis and profiling to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations (in Tableau).
  • Support and maintain BI tools and data refresh processes.
  • Ensure data quality and governance standards are met.
  • Provide end-user support and training as needed.

Required Skills:


  • 4 to 6 years of experience as Data Analyst / Developer
  • Experience in data analysis, BI development, or related roles.
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with relational databases and BI tools, especially Tableau.
  • Ability to design and deliver data models and visualizations.
  • Actively validate and test your own work to a high standard
  • Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data governance, cleansing, and metadata management.
  • Knows how to apply different techniques for data analysis and synthesis of findings
  • Analyses and validates business information requirements, and w/ supervision defines approach to deliver reporting, BI and analytics solutions
  • Communicates effectively w/ both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Coordinates and facilitates discussions within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Designs basic data models and can reverse-engineer a data model from a live system
  • With little assistance designs, develops, implements and tests BI models in Tableau.
  • Creates and delivers standard reports, dashboards and visualisations in accordance with stakeholder needs and conforming to agreed standards.
  • Identifies appropriate ways to collect, collate and prepare data.
  • Assesses/profiles data to determine if it is accurate and fit for purpose. Can prepare and cleanse data with limited guidance.
  • Interprets requirements and presents data in a clear and compelling way, using graphical representations and data visualisations.
  • Responds to problems in databases, data processes, data products and services as they occur. Can initiate actions, monitor services and identify trends to prevent and resolve problems

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hybrid work model: In-office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Working Time: India shift timings will be until 11:30 PM IST
  • Work Location: Pune / Hyderabad / Chennai
