The Role As an Engineering Manager at Unifize, you will be at the forefront of driving our engineering team forward to deliver on our goals as a company.
You will be reporting directly to the VP of Engineering.
  This role is designed for a passionate, proactive individual who is eager to dive deep into an engineering leadership role and help innovate solutions.
Responsibilities Manage a structured team of 15 developers based in Bangalore.
Work with Product Management to plan releases and oversees the implementation by the development team.
Resource allocation and balancing Implement and tracks development deadlines Negotiate feature sets with the product teams Identify and manage issues and risk throughout the product development lifecycle Help define and enforce development methodology and process Drive the testing process Maintain cross-department communication with key company stakeholders including customer support and customer success.
Full people management responsibility, including hiring, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development for the overall department Qualifications 6+ years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects.
Experience in developing/managing teams.
Strong knowledge of databases and deep depth in any of the following programming languages: Python, Golang, Java.
Agile, proactive, comfortable working with high-level specifications, and can prioritise on the fly B.
Tech/B.E. or higher degree in Computer Science
