Role: QA Manager


We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead and manage the Quality Assurance function across projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategies, managing QA teams, ensuring high-quality releases, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and metrics.


Location: Bengaluru


Key Responsibilities


  • Define, implement, and own the overall QA strategy, test processes, and quality standards
  • Lead, mentor, and manage manual and automation QA teams
  • Plan and oversee test activities including functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, performance, and security testing
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business stakeholders
  • Ensure test coverage, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and quality metrics are maintained and reported
  • Drive test automation initiatives and improve test efficiency
  • Review and approve test plans, test cases, test reports, and release signoffs.
  • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and hiring for the QA team
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD processes
  • Identify risks early and proactively implement mitigation plans
  • Continuously improve QA processes using best practices and industry standards

Required Skills & Qualifications


  • 8-12 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
  • Strong experience in manual and automation testing
  • Hands-on experience of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.) development using Python
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
  • Good understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
  • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of defect management and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong people management, mentoring, and leadership skills; 2+yrs of experience in people / team management – 5-10 members
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
