The Opportunity

The Growth and Martech Engineering team was built to deliver rich personalized experiences for visitors across Adobe.com and XE Surfaces. This group supports the Web analytics instrumentation and performance tracking on Adobe's key web surfaces. This team collaborates closely with Aodbe.com Growth, Commerce, Marketing, IT, business unit leaders, and corporate functions to deliver new or improved capabilities based on key testing insights, ensuring an industry-leading customer experience.


This team maintains a highly visible and strategically significant role in delivering against the strategies of the organization at large as it relates to customer experience. A deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS and HTML are required. Strong organization and communications skills are key.


What you'll do
  • Deliver rich, optimized experiences across the XE (Customer Experience) and Adobe.com surfaces.
  • Develop Experiences using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML as well as in Visual Editors provided by Experimentation platforms.
  • Partner strategically with product management and analytics teams to support A/B testing and Web Personalization strategy.
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues related to delivering custom site experiences
  • Collaborate with several teams including Growth Product Management, Program Management, Commerce, Creative and Engineering to ensure timely execution of web Experimentation strategy
What you need to succeed
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in front-end web development technologies, namely JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Knowledge and experience working with A/B testing, Multivariate Testing
  • Hands on experience in one of Optimization / Experimentation tools like Adobe Target, AJO.
  • Good understanding / exposure to cross product integration (i.e. Target – AAM, Target - Analytics, AEP - CJA etc..)
  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
  • Proficient in Tag Management Solutions preferably Adobe Launch
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics is Plus.
  • Strong understanding of web applications, including security, session management, and best development practices.
  • 8-10 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proven experience in leading and driving a technical team.
  • Proficiency in building tools, automation, self-service, and simple page capabilities.
  • Experience working with cross geo partners/teams in delivering solutions.
  • Solid coding experience with frontend technologies for web-based applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 8 years of practical experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues across various business functions.
