Manager – HSE (Audit) to strengthen and govern the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) audit framework across specialty and hazardous chemical manufacturing sites.
This role will ensure robust compliance, strong process safety controls, and continuous improvement in HSE maturity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement risk-based corporate HSE audit programs across manufacturing locations.
Conduct structured, thematic, and surprise audits covering high-risk chemical operations and critical processes.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations , Responsible Care requirements, and international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IS 14489 .
Identify, assess, and escalate systemic HSE, process safety, and operational risks to senior leadership.
Lead audit close-out processes, including leadership reviews, corrective action tracking, and closure of critical non-conformities .
Drive audit benchmarking, maturity assessments, performance reporting , and continuous improvement initiatives across sites.
🎓 Desired Profile Education: BE/BTech (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Safety .
Experience: 12–18 years in specialty or hazardous chemical manufacturing, with 5+ years in corporate HSE audits and governance roles .
Strong exposure to MSIHC Rules, Waste Management Rules, ISO standards, NFPA, OSHA , and solvent and static electricity safety.
