About the role Working as part of LSFF Team, and based in the India Country Office, the position is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the fortification program, ensuring quality assurance, providing support to the states under NI India’s Large Scale Food Fortification Program.
In this role you will : · Work closely with the NPM- Fortification to plan and deliver technical advisory inputs, and/or quality assurance of program, planning and documentation.
· Collaborate with state teams to identify program technical priorities and research areas for improving quality and coverage of programs.
· Oversee the overall implementation of all LSFF activities, ensuring that activities are implemented according to plan, within the desired timeframe, and in line with the project design, meeting targets.
· Oversee the financial management of the program, ensuring the monitoring of spending to ensure appropriate and relevant use of project funds in line with donor requirements.
· Build capacity of internal and implementing partner staff about new knowledge, clearly interpreting relevance for NI programs and implications for changes in practice by NI.
· Prepare ToRs, in consultation with NPM and follow up to ensure timely completion of review and approval process.
· Facilitate inception meetings with the vendors/partners and share relevant technical documents with them.
· Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables are received as per contract timelines.
· Liaise with key government stakeholders at national and state levels to represent NI’s work.
· Stay abreast of and contribute to the latest knowledge and develop networks and collaborative relations to facilitate and reinforce sharing of best practice with other relevant programs, experts and organizations in India.
· Develop and support finalization of necessary technical documentation including concept notes, program reports, training modules, policy briefs, study reports, etc.
· Provide technical support in documentation of program activities, best practices and success stories.

About you You will have a Master’s degree in food technology, nutrition, public health or related fields with at least 8 years of work experience in developing and implementing programs in India.
Experience of working in food fortification and food systems will be preferred.
A result-oriented approach and proven ability to manage, track and coordinate complex multi-partner large-scale programs, you will come with the ability to network and negotiate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the program.
The position will particularly require a strong ability to engage and negotiate with senior government officials at state level in India.
Fluency in Hindi and English (Reading, Writing & Oratory Skills) is a prerequisite.
Knowledge of other languages spoken in India would be an asset.
