The opportunity
- A Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a crucial link, responsible for sourcing, engaging, and selecting the most suitable candidates for various roles.
- They also manage hiring operations, including issuing offer letters and communicating rejections, processing bills and reimbursement. Focusing on high experience at candidate and hiring manager level.
- Regularly connecting with different stakeholders to understand their specific requisition needs is also a key part of their role.
How you’ll spend your day Talent Acquisition:
- Lead vacancy consultation discussions with the Sourer, if required, to align recruitment plans with hiring managers. This includes defining role requirements, sourcing strategies, DEI requirements, pay ranges, timelines, responsibilities, and the selection process.
- Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
- Coordinating with candidate for documents for background verification and pre-employment medical check-up.
- Collecting reports and cross check that the candidate is eligible to hire. Communicating any Red report.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience, managing satisfaction from the initial interview till on-boarding.
- Support hiring managers with hiring decisions and guide them in determining appropriate offers.
- Manage the offer process and successfully close candidates.
- Proactively manage future demand by facilitating demand planning meetings to discuss forecasts with the client resourcing lead team.
- Identify and share opportunities for continuous improvement within the delivery process with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Support the local employer branding and labor communication activities to work on an ongoing talent pool for your country.
On-boarding:
- Collaborate with the HR Operation, respective GFM, Hiring Manager and Site HR for the smooth and well-planned On-Boarding experience for new joinee.
- Preparing candidate for formalities and document required for on-boarding.
- Maintain active connect with offered candidate till the date of joining – addressing concerns and sensing any possible dropouts. Involving Hiring Manager or Site HR basis of need of candidate.
MIS and Analytics:
- Prepare MIS reports for Talent Acquisition activities and share them with the TA Lead and other relevant stakeholders.
- Highlight any concerns in the recruitment process to management.
- Identify various sourcing channels and monitor their effectiveness.
- Effectively utilize recruitment technology and databases.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in hiring and recruitment.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- At least 5 years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
- Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies for various roles.
- Proactive and independent, with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices in hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient in or able to quickly learn applicant-tracking software and other recruitment systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Expertise in a specific market sector or talent segment.
- Knowledge of diverse candidate sourcing strategies (e.g., web sourcing, networking, advertising, and database searching)
