As a Sr. Software Test Development Engineer at Dexcom, you’ll join a highly collaborative engineering group dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of Dexcom’s cutting-edge software solutions. Our team plays a critical role in validating the functionality, and user experience of products that empower people living with diabetes worldwide.
Where you come in:

• You willparticipateinsoftwarerequirements and design reviews.

  
  
  

• You will createsoftwareverification plans,testprotocols, and conductsoftwarerisk analyses for commercial products.

  
  
  

• You willvalidatethe configuration, functionality, and user interface ofsoftwareand tools.

  
  
  

• You will design, develop, execute, andmaintainautomatedtestscripts forsoftwaretesting.

  
  
  

• You will executesoftwareverification plans andtestprotocols.

  
  
  

• You will record and track issues in the bug tracking system.

  
  
  

• You will analyze failures and collaborate withdevelopmentteams to ensure thorough investigation of root causes.

  
  
  

• You will writetestreports documenting detailed validation results and reporttestprogress to management.

  
  
  

• You will follow internalsoftwaredevelopment, cybersecurity, and validation procedures in compliance with medical and security regulations.

  
  
  

• You willmodifytestprotocols based on changes in requirements and execute regression validation accordingly.

  
  
  

• You will work collaboratively with other engineers as needed.

  
  
  

What makes you successful:

• You have working knowledge ofmobileoperating systems such asiOSandAndroidapplication.

  
  
  

• You have solid Experience in developing automatedtestscripts usingJavaandPython. Document thetestplan,maintaintesttrace and traceability, and generatetestreports.

  
  
  

• You have a solid experience in troubleshooting themobileapplication usingtesttools and collect the evidence and bug reports from device. 

  
  
  

• You have experience in terminal commands for Linux/Mac and ADB. 

  
  
  

• You have experience inmobileautomationtestingtool such asAndroidstudio, ADB, Xcode,Appium,AppiumGUI server andAppiuminspector. 

  
  
  

• You have experience in GIT, GIT commands and Jfrogartifactory& knowledge ofmaintaining the repositories. 

  
  
  

• You have experience in Defect life cycle and defect tracking tools (Ex,Jira). 

  
  
  

• You have experience in Manualtesting andtestmethodologies such as Systemtesting, Regression, Black box, Performance (or) stresstesting and White boxtesting.

Experience and Education Requirements:

 Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum 
of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience
