Job Description

REQUIREMENTS


Total experience: 8+ years experience
Experience in digital analytics, tag management, customer data platforms (CDP), and data strategy
Deep, expert-level knowledge of Tealium iQ Tag Management, Tealium AudienceStream CDP, and Tealium EventStream / DataAccess
Proven experience leading and owning Tealium implementations for large, complex, multi-site ecosystems
Strong hands-on and advisory experience defining, governing, and executing tagging and event tracking strategies across multiple websites and digital platforms
Extensive experience with client-side and server-side tagging and modern, scalable data-collection architectures
Strong understanding of data layers, tagging frameworks, governance models, identity resolution, and data quality validation
Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into technical solution design, effort estimation, and delivery plans
Proven expertise in debugging data accuracy issues, tracking discrepancies, tagging errors, and data-layer problems
Experience implementing consent management and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, and related standards)
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and debugging tools for web and mobile analytics implementations
Experience integrating Tealium with analytics, advertising, CRM, and personalization platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, and similar tools)
Domain experience in retail, automotive, or manufacturing industries is preferred
Demonstrated ability to operate in a senior advisory, client-facing role, guiding teams and stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset with excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


RESPONSIBILITIES


Define, own, and drive the overall Tealium CDP and tag management strategy across digital platforms
Establish and enforce standardized tagging and data-layer frameworks across websites and applications
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of client-side and server-side tagging solutions using Tealium
Design and manage audience segmentation, enrichment, and real-time activation workflows within AudienceStream
Provide expert technical guidance, solution design, and effort estimation for marketing and tracking requirements
Ensure scalability, consistency, and best practices across all tagging and data collection implementations
Own data quality, governance, validation, and auditing across all Tealium and analytics implementations
Debug and resolve complex tagging, event tracking, and data integration issues across environments
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and reliable data capture
Evaluate new Tealium features, capabilities, and best practices to continuously enhance data collection and activation strategies
Mentor and guide developers and analysts, acting as a technical and strategic escalation point
Drive continuous improvement of data collection frameworks, performance, and scalability



Qualifications
