Software Development Engineer

The increasing complexity in modern consumer and industrial systems demands highly capable, responsive, and intuitive software solutions. ADI is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer with strong expertise in desktop application development, system integration, and digital signal processing.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance desktop applications using C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Build responsive and scalable UI applications using WPF and WinForms.
  • Own software components end-to-end including requirements, design, development, testing, and documentation.
  • Interface desktop applications with hardware systems.
  • Apply DSP knowledge, particularly in audio tuning and processing workflows.
  • Work with JSON and XML-based data interfaces.
  • Use GIT for version control and collaborative development.
  • Apply strong software design patterns and coding best practices.
Primary Qualifications
  • BE or MTech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in developing desktop application.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with C# .NET, including building desktop UI applications.
  • Expertise in WPF, WinForms, MVVM, and modern UI development.
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Git‑based version control.
  • Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts; audio DSP and tuning experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience building applications that interface with hardware devices, USB/serial/Ethernet drivers, or custom protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently design software architectures, drive development from concept to release, and manage technical decisions.
  • Strong command of software design patterns, clean coding principles, and scalable architecture.
  • Experience working with JSON, XML for data interchange, configuration, or UI binding.
Secondary Qualifications
  • Experience with multi‑threaded, real‑time, or performance‑critical application development.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real‑time hardware interactions.
  • Understanding of Agile or other development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of audio domain, tuning tools, or signal‑chain visualization tools.
