MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Describe the major accountabilities that this job is expected to deliver


1.    Analyse Requirements, estimate effort, plan & execute the process as agreed with Corporate. Suggest changes or deviation with justification as applicable.
2.    Track, analyse and report on progress to plan and make adjustments consistent with planned objectives. Provide directions to the team to meet the objectives set by the Team Leader.
3.    Conduct daily and weekly meetings to track the progress and to identify issues and prepare weekly and monthly status reports.
4.    Communicate progress, risks, expectations, timeliness, milestones and other key project metrics to team members and the relevant stake holders.
5.    Analyse risk and instigate avoidance activities, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating corrective actions.
6.    Deploy measures for defect prevention.
7.    Timely escalation of issues and risks to management


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

7 - 9 years of experience in embedded software development (V cycle activities)


  • Software design
    • Knowledge on real time embedded software development

Embedded C language, MATLAB, SIMULINK


  • Knowledge of software technical standards (MISRA, AUTOSAR & ISO26262)
  • Good knowledge of  Matlab-Simulink simulation
    • Modeling with Simulink
    • Code generation from Models
  • Knowledge on software verification and validation processes
    • Building functional testing scenario based on use cases
  • Knowledge on Validation tools
    • Hardware in the Loop (HIL)
    • Software in the Loop (SIL)
    • Processor in the Loop (PIL)
    • Model in the Loop (MIL)
  • Software engineering processes & Tools
    • Deep knowledge on CMMI ,SPICE , Agile processes
