Work closely with the product owner and other team members to clarify proposed changes to IT products and/or platform from a technical point of view.


· Responsible for bringing the technical point of view, during backlog refinement and prioritization, including for example scoping the technical changes, estimating their complexity and efforts.


· Accountable and responsible for the integrity and quality of the technical design of the IT product and/or platform through its lifecycle. Create fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use technical designs to implement the prioritized backlog items, Accountable for ensuring non-functional requirements are addressed in the technical design.


· Responsible for making sure the technical design continues to be in alignment with applicable quality and compliance standards (e.g., cybersecurity and data models and standards), and is aligned with IT Product and/or platform roadmap.


· Responsible for keeping the complexity of technical designs low, by for example, minimizing custom implementations and actively promoting out of the box functionality where applicable.


· Responsible for ensuring that technical dependencies between the IT products and/or platforms are planned and implemented in accordance with agreed architecture guidelines.


· Provide required technical guidance to the team members.


· Play an active role in ensuring that applicable Flow IT processes are followed within the teams. (e.g., Develop & Release, Govern Architecture, Govern Quality)


Lifecycle management of IT products


· Taking a lifecycle view of the IT products, play proactive role in identifying improvements to performance, eliminating technical debt in IT products and/or platforms


Play a proactive role in technology management to avoid technical debt. Work with product owners to prioritize such improvements.


· Support Operations teams in addressing critical operational issues.


Responsible for technology management activities and supporting activities related to technical health checks, upgrades and maintenance of the technical elements of the IT products and/or platforms throughout their lifecycle. ·


Accountable for Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation including technical design specifications in accordance with applicable architecture guidelines, taking accountability for the overall quality of the technical documentation of the IT products and/or platforms in scope. ·


 Works closely with other agile team members and actively promotes DevOps ways of working within the Product team. Plays an active role in improving & maintaining DevOps maturity capabilities and agile ways of working within the team.


  • Full design responsibilities of solutions and documentation as defines in the Service area mainly in our SAP solution Package service repairs and Contract Management  Planned Maintenance and Integrations with Satellite systems
  • Compile, review and maintain required solution documentation and KW documents.
  • Review, estimate and design technical  solutions and functionalities of change request
  • Participate to KONE Way projects as a Technical expert role and ensure solutions are built accordingly with the design and KONE way.
  • Provides advanced technical support during use phase; provides know how on concept, related applications and processes.
  • Background and previous experience:
  • Functional and architectural understanding of IT products and related technologies
  • · Deep experience in the relevant IT product technologies and modules.
  • · Experience with DevOps ways of working including technical practices such as CI/CD, Release governance, monitoring techniques.
  • · Familiarity with modern technologies, design and development tools and automation techniques.
  • · Experience with data standards and modelling.
  • · Lean and agile ways of working.
  • · Familiarity with IT product management practices
  • · Communication and networking skills in a global environment.
  • · Educational qualifications (e.g., BE, BTech, MCA etc.).
  • · At least 7-8 years of experience in developing and/or supporting IT solutions and/or platforms, preferably on  SAP the relevant technology area.
  • · Demonstrated experience of working in global context.
  • Good knowledge of SAP related technologies, data model and interface with focus on SAP CS ( Customer Service/ Service Management  ), SD area and MM
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills supporting good relationship building with Product Owner and external vendor team
  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skill and ability to work independently.
  • Data modeling experience and good understanding of FICO integration in SAP is a plus
  • Experience in working in an international environment with ability to perform in virtual and matrix organizations with an offshore IT model is a plus.
